CHALLENGE
A rustic resort, tucked away amongst the picturesque rolling hills of Missouri wine country. They grow their own hops, brew their own beer, host corporate retreats, set the scene for destination weddings, and welcome the entire family for weekend getaways. Did we mention they brew their own beer?
There was just one problem: brand awareness was low. Their online bookings were low and growth was stagnant despite excellent reviews and robust word of mouth. They needed a catalyst to drive awareness and increase bookings.
My team was tasked with increasing branded and non-branded organic visibility, traffic and website conversions.
STRATEGY
Turn the brand into a media company authoritative in each of their key product offerings. My team executed by developing valuable, relevant content and marketing it through storytelling and community engagement.
By establishing the brand as an authority, my team was able to gain more quality links and get more attention in the media.
At the same time, my team deployed a paid search program targeting niche searchers likely interested in their offerings. Through algorithmic optimization, my team was able to steadily improve the performance of the paid search program.
